Hongxing Wei, President of AUBO(Beijing) Intelligent Science and Technology Co,.Ltd, is interviewed by Haixia, a renowned host of CCTV (China Central Television), in the program of “Outlook-The Future Mission”. Hongxin Wei elaborated the widespread applications of cobot in various fields and its impact on the structure of labor force.

近日，遨博（北京）智能科技有限公司（以下简称遨博）董事长魏洪兴作客央视栏目《发现之旅-未来使命》，接受央视著名主持人海霞的专访，讲述了协作机器人在各领域的广泛应用，以及这些应用对劳动力结构的影响。

Hongxing Wei said: “China’s cobot market is just getting started. At present, only 100,000 cobots can be sold out annually. But the wider and wider applications will accelerate the development of cobots, and millions or even tens of millions will be needed in the foreseeable future.”

魏洪兴认为，目前中国的协作机器人市场刚起步，每年只有几万台的规模，但发展速度随着协作机器人应用的深入将全面加快，协作机器人在市场达到百万甚至千万的规模也许就在不远的将来。

The advantages of cobots include safety, easy operation and flexible production, which enable them to cooperate with people and undertake repetitive tasks that require high precision. So, people are relieved from boring and replaceable tasks and thus can engage in more creative tasks. With the expansion of the cobot’s market, the labour structure of the manufacturing industry will also be adjusted and optimized. At the same time, the application of cobot has been extended to the retail, massage and physiotherapy industries. For example, AUBO has launched service-oriented products with payloads of 3kg and 5kg, which can meet the high-safety and easy-use demands of catering, coffee, milk tea and physiotherapy robots, and thus will effectively alleviate the problem of labour shortage in China.

协作机器人安全、易操作、柔性生产等特性使之可以与人协作，代替人去完成重复、定位精度要求高的工作，从而把人从枯燥、可替代的工作中解放出来，去从事更具创造力的工作。随着协作机器人市场的扩大，制造业的劳动力结构也在进行优化调整。同时，协作机器人的应用已经延伸到服务业，对零售、按摩理疗等行业，例如遨博就推出了面向服务业的产品，负载3KG和5KG等多款产品，可以满足餐饮、咖啡、奶茶、理疗机器人高安全性和高易用性的需求，也会有效缓解国内“用工难、用工贵”的问题。

Hongxing Wei also said: “The development of Cobot needs to break the boundaries of technology by integrating with application scenarios of all walks of life. In this way, the vitality of the market can be released, and new opportunities will be created. At present, AUBO has launched three kinds of cobots. The first one is designed for industrial uses. With a payload of 3kg to 20kg, it can meet clients’ requirements on speed, precision, safety and flexibility. The second one faces the service industry. The third one is a brand-new automatic mobile cobot with hands, feet and even eyes, which broadens the world’s perception of “Cobots are mere lightweight mechanical arms”. With its idea of “Intelligence changes the world. Collaboration makes the future.”, AUBO will, as always, focus on developing cobots to meet the requirements of the market.
